Help making choices on UCAS

I have two offers, UCL and Birmingham. I would rather UCL.

If I put UCL as my firm choice, the requiremnets for both at A*AA.
If I put Birmingham first, then the Birmingham offer is lowered to AAA and UCL remains A*AA.

If I put Birmingham as firm and still get A*AA, will I be able to go to UCL?
Does it lower my chances of going to UCL?

Basically, does putting UCL second make it less likely I'll get in there, even if I get the grades?
If you hit the offers for both your firm and insurance on results day your insurance offer gets automatically declined

If you meet the offer conditions of your firm, your place is confirmed. You don't get to choose between the two on results day.

Which course do you prefer?
