Forcing me to get Holiday Pay
So just started my new job at Pret. Been working for 2 weeks and they put me on 5 day holiday pay meaning I can’t work next week. I wouldn’t mind but I am planning on leaving the job. So they forced me to take holiday pay. What I am scared is that if I leave apparently I will need to pay back my holiday pay. I think I have 28 days of holiday pay so 5 is already taken. What will happen when I leave mid august will I have to pay it back.
How long until you plan to leave? Usually you earn so many holidays per month worked. Ie 24 holidays would be 2 a month
If you worked 6 months you'd be entitled to use 12 so any over than you would have to pay back
Are you taking leave or have they made you take it and If so why?
