Just prepare for the interview by thinking what can you offer as a volunteer in a busy hospital ward environment.

Your role as a volunteer is generally talking to patients, doing some cleaning as instructed by senior nurse, help with handing out the meals at the appropriate time, maybe assist with helping with the tea rounds - the individual wards management will have their own work routine for volunteers.
