Postgrad Medicine - Arts background

Hello,

I’ve been keen to do medicine for many years, didn’t get the grades at school, went on to an graphics degree. I am going to work as a HCA in a hospital next year as well as do some St. John’s ambulance shadowing, and hospital shadowing. At some stage in the next couple of years I’d like to apply to medicine. Is this a huge uphill battle or possible? I already have some potentially relevant volunteer experience: volunteering with autistic children, work with people post brain injury and not relevant is working at Samaritans.
