1st attempt failed 3rd Yr Nursing Summative
Hi everyone, I recently failed 1st attempt on my 3rd year nursing summative. I've lost the mental battle to stay positive toward completing the final weeks in which I will be able to take a final attempt.
I was failed for not practicing safely and effectively, due to poor time management skills and advised to improve on such through delegation skills. I do actively delegate less priortised tasks appropriately, so I'm not quite sure where or how I can improve otherwise. They want to see me taking more of a lead in general, and encouraged me to be confident in doing so. Which is challenging, as I have had my confidence knocked early on in this placement by my PA who has been rude, snappy and generally unsupportive until two days before my first attempt.
Can anyone offer advice on demonstrating greater confidence in this situation please?
