Is it always inability?
Plenty of potential reasons for students deciding to drop out of a course.
Boredom, buildings where the study facilities are in poor physical condition/multiple classrooms very unsafe in need of extensive repair work asap, can't cope with the workload, criminal attacks, family commitments, financial problems, health issues, toxic culture on campus or amongst large proportions of the teaching staff/student body/most popular societies & activist groups on campus, widespread very off-putting asbo behaviour in the local neighbourhood.
Also realising that the course isn't for them.

So inability?
Ill health, finances, family issues, poor subject choice, change of plans. Countless reasons not connected to ability.

So inability?

Not necessarily. It could be due to not being fully aware of what a course covers due to lack of research, being 'forced' to do a course by parents or just not enjoying it.
What is this thread even for if you're just going to aggressively twist everyone's answers to 'inability?' no matter what?
