Is it worth doing a MEng Software Engineering over a BEng?

I am currently completing my placement year on the MEng Software Engineering pathway. I am loving my placement so far, so much so that I think I will struggle to return back to another 2 years of university afterwards.
I have contemplated changing to the BEng pathway, and complete my final year after placement instead. It is likely I will receive a graduate offer from my company.
I was speaking with a Technical Architect who said that the MEng isn't worth it, and that I should only consider going for a Master's in something specialised, like Cyber Security.
My question - Is it worth sticking around to complete the MEng for the sake of an extra year, or should I change to a BEng and finish sooner? I am considering moving abroad to another country within Europe after I graduate.
