1st year nursing to paramedicine?
Hi, I am wondering if it's possible to transfer from 1st year student nursing to starting my 2nd year doing paramedic science? I assume the answer is no provided that some of the modules are different for the years, but it feels worth asking. Lately I've been regretting not signing on for paramedicine, but I know I can stick with nursing and get my top up/qualification for paramedicine down the line...

There isn't even an easy way to transfer from qualified nurse to paramedic or the other way round (this is one of the many things Casualty has got wrong - there is no way Jacob would be qualified as a paramedic by now!). Unfortunately you need to do the whole 3 year degree, but some topics will be the same or similar so you'll hopefully find it easier.
