Going into finance with a sociology degree?

Hi,
I want some opinions on this. I’m doing sociology and have some spring weeks and 1 summer work experience in financial firms. I’m also about to acquire a level 6 diploma in applied finance. I go to a Russell group uni too and I did maths at alevels.
What are my chances of getting a good job in the financial sector? My degree is not related much (i guess some modules in statistics for research) but that’s about it.

You'll likely find that the experience plus the L6 will be of far more interest to any employer.
I know fund managers who have History or Politics degrees. The quality of your Uni is likely to be a factor too.
I've worked in Financial sector for over 30 years and hold a relevant L6 alongside an arts degree...
