UCAT Medentry QR Question

Why doesn't it work to find 6% of 423 and add it on, because the prevailing wins was 6% MORE but he scored 6% LESS?Screenshot (408).png

because it's 423 is 6% less, the calculation is 423 x 0.94 which equals 450. 423 is 6% less than 450. to double check this (i understand double checking is very difficult to do during ucat), we can work out an 8% increase from 450, which should give us 486. 450 x 1.08 = 486.
