Most people use Medify or MedEntry

I just used medify and I thought it was really good.
Resources:

Paid: Medify/ Medentry, you can get a school discount btw- communicate this to your teachers to email medify for a 40% discount. I suggest medify, crazy large question banks (20K questions) plus the videos are great

Free: UCAT website, they have 4 free mock exams with individual section banks (these are recycled from the mocks tho to be aware) questions are sparse though so I heavily endorse medify/ medentry.

For SJT you can use the GMC good medical practice guide but I never used it.

YouTubers:

Emil Eddy- quick, digestible and frankly amazing. You can go Kharma Medic but personally Emil Eddy tutors people on UCAT and his explanations are thorough.

DO NOT BUY UCAT MASTERCLASSES.

Just please don’t, I’ve heard it’s not very economical and honestly the same info can be found online

Oh yeah, I got 2920 B1 which is alright given I couldn’t revise the week before my exam (long story).

Ask me for more info if you need it!

When did you start preparing for the UCAT

Revision- early August for my exam on 6th September. I had to take two weeks out because of my uncles funeral and for GP work experience which was an hour away 9-5.

I don’t think I was necessarily good at the UCAT, I mean if you look around here a lot of people got better scores! But I suggest the earlier you start to get accustomed to the UCAT the better, saves the stress later on!

Anything else let me know!

Thank you boss for the kind words 🙏🏾, may you find great success in your future endeavours.

Another bit of help: keep up to date with current affairs in medicine- will be a great help in medicine interviews!

After using both medify and medentry, I would recommend Medify. I found their VR section was more accurate than Medentry's and Medify's QR was a bit harder than the real thing.

Join the 2025 UCAT thread when set up.

In the meantime the 2024 thread may be useful, esp the resources at the start.

Good luck. You have plenty of time.

Medify, used it for 6 weeks, about 4 weeks was heavy on it, did all official mocks and about 10-15 medify mocks and scored 2820 with Band 2 in SJT.
I can recommend it.
The only downside I found with it is that mock scores and scores in general were WAAAY lower than what I got on the real thing so don’t panic. I was getting 2400-2500 on ALL my medify mocks but ~2800 on official mocks and ended up getting 2820.
Focus on technique rather than just grinding as many questions as possible - technique and reflection on mistakes is more valuable than doing 7k questions like I did, if I had followed this advice I’d have scores a lot higher than 2820…

Good luck with it!
