Got 3 A’s. LSE or UCL will not take me on. Would they consider resit plus doing further maths?

Yeah, do Further Mathematics and resit (you need A* for Mathematics to get into LSE/ UCL).

Hi ..
I am a international student looking to apply to UCL and LSE this week before the deadline.
While I complete A levels in May 2024, I did a Maths A Level exam in May 2023 and received an A.
Not being happy with the result, I retook the exma in Oct 2023 (Maths A Level) and have received a A*.

Does UCL consider resits which are completed ahead of the A Levels schedule? Given that an actual A* grade in a resit is better than a "predicted" A* grade, and I anyway will get a conditional offer, I should be more competitive .

So, should I apply to UCL Eco (which needs an A* in Math) or UCL non-eco (maybe management) which just needs a A in Math.?

Grateful for any help.
