what is the difference between biomedical science and applied biomedical degree

What is the difference between a biomedical science degree and an applied biomedical science degree apprenticeship?, My end goal is to work and specialise in the immunology sector so can I reach that goal with the applied biomedical degree?

The applied biomedical science degree is identical to the biomedical science degree at the same university. The applied part means that it's an apprenticeship so you'd work four days a week and go to university one day a week.

Cons
- Takes four years instead of three.
- It's harder than a fulltime degree as you're working too.

Pros
- You get paid
- University fees are paid (no student loan)
- You get four years work experience
- You complete your professional qualifications.
