Do a foundation year e.g. https://www.surrey.ac.uk/undergraduate/microbiology#entry, https://www.reading.ac.uk/ready-to-study/study/subject-area/biological-sciences-ug/bsc-microbiology-with-foundation

Do an Access course in science with at least 15 credits in biology and 15 in another science (preferably chemistry)
•
Do a BTEC in applied science - not sure how helpful this would be
•
Do extra A Levels in a gap year - maths being the cheapest, but chemistry is still ideal
