Predicted Grades and Cambridge
I am currently predicted 3A*s (Maths, Further maths, Physics) and a B (chemistry). I am applying for maths with physics at cambridge and I'm wondering if my chemistry grade will hinder my application more than dropping it. Should I keep 4 A-levels?
In my opinion, I don't think this will hinder your application, as you already have 3A*s in your predictions. And since Cambridge goes off the baseline of 3 A Levels for their offers there is no reason for them to consider the Chemistry grade as detrimental to your application since it also does not relate to the course.
I'd only drop chemistry if you yourself believe that it may hinder your progress in your other subjects due to an increased workload but a 4th A-Level result never hurt anybody.
