Are AI checkers accurate?

Before saying anything, the only thing I used Chat GPT for is to come up with synonyms for example "learn", "discover" etc. I did NOT use Chat GPT to write my personal statement.

I used an AI checker (more than 1) and one came back 100% AI generated, others came back 0% and 49% AI generated. How can websites which claim they are very accurate come back with such different numbers? Now I'm concerned that my personal statement will be flagged for using AI when I didn't use it to write. Is this concern valid?

You can simply google 'learn synonym' to do that...

But I don't think you need to worry if it is true that you did not use GPT to write the thing.
