Ucas lines

Hey guys, my personal statement is under 4000 characters but UCAS says it is 7 lines over the limit. How can I fix this? Do I have to shorten words?

“You cannot exceed 4,000 characters, or 47 lines of text (including blank lines) – whichever is reached first.” is what it says online. Maybe try to use less lines?
