Question for aqa psychology as level exam !!!

i'm currently doing as level psychology (will follow through for a level qualification) and wanted to know that for the 8,16, or 20 marker questions relating to memory models or any other things which are supported by case studies (and which are refuted by case studies), when writing an answer will it be compulsory to refute my claim with another case study example? i find it easier to write about multiple case studies that can support my claim rather than 1 which supports and 1 which argues. not sure what is acceptable by the exam board, and if they give more marks for showing understanding by providing refuting claims or if they give equal amount of marks for showing understanding by providing multiple supporting case studies. also, how many case studies should i talk about to gain full marks? 2? 3? 4?
