Personal Statment

I need help on how to start writing. I am trying to get into international relations and economics/ business management.
How do I merge them together ?
How much wider reading to include ?
How to merge into the personal statement your hobbies and your achievements ?
How to "brag about yourself"?

HI there,

These are subjects that aren't too removed from each other - is there perhaps a topic you have studied at school that showed the interdisciplinary nature of the subjects?

Include as much of wider reading that you have done! If you have read very widely I would recommend only selecting those that have really interested you. You could also include any TED talks, or podcasts you have heard.

When talking about hobbies and achievements - use the ABC method.... Activity: What have you done outside/inside of school that sets you apart from other students? Benefit: How has this activity helped you develop as an individual? Course: How do these attributes demonstrate how you will succeed on your chosen course?
