Missed 1 month of school

I've missed the first month of year 10. What should I do?

Speak to your school about how best to catch up.

Hi @Sagal Dualleh!

I hope you are doing okay

I would suggest that you try and speak to or email all of your teachers and ask for the work that you missed so you can try and catch-up, I'm assuming it will be your first month of preparing for your GCSEs so it is important that you find out what studying you have missed. Once you have found out the work, try and spend some time understanding it as it can be quite overwhelming to get so much work at once whilst still studying in school. Everything will be okay though, I missed 6 weeks of school in Year 10 due to an illness and my school was really accommodating and didn't want me to fall behind, so hopefully you're school will be of help for you too.

If you believe you might have to take some more time off school for significant reasons I would suggest speaking to a senior member at school as next time they might be able to ask your teachers to give you some work whilst you are off school to prevent you from falling behind or having to catch-up and give you more stress.

Good luck with the rest of your studies and I hope this helped

Why? Haven't they sent work home for you?
