Work placement year after foundation degree

Work placement year after foundation degree

I completed a foundation degree back in 2020. The course is fairly new so keeps changing. When I initially applied they only had a foundation option, then they offered a BA . Now they are offering a placement year. Can anyone tell me if it’s unusual or just impossible to complete a work placement year after doing a 2 year foundation? I intend to top up with final year but Uni are saying I can’t do the placement year. I don’t disagree with them, I just want to know if anyone experienced similar and what happened.

Its entirely a decision for that University.

OK. So it is possible, but this Uni has refused. Because when I asked the admission staff seemed confused.
