Camp hill Girls Birmingham for Year 7

Hi, My daughter passed her 11+ exam and we are living under a mile from Camp hill girls school. We are researching if this school would be good for her. She is good academically, but not very strong or top of the class, nor does she wish to be. She spends a lot of time with creative tasks. She is bit introvert and shy as well. Will CHG be a good choice for her, kindly can someone share your thoughts on this please... I also would like to add: She is not competitive at all, and doesnt do well in pressurised environment. She thrives in supportive, relaxed situation. I heard about the stress/pressure of CHG and worrying how my daughter would cope. With her marks, she can get into Sutton grammars or handsworth, but that requires us moving the house. But CHG is just 10 mins walk from our home. So we are torn, any inputs now would kindly help us to make a decision before placing the application.

Hi
idk if this is too late or not but if you have alr picked where your sending her, this might help (if u've picked chg ofc)
Im in yr 10 in camp hill
i dont rlly remember yr 7 as it was in covid but i made lots of good friends there
i am also introverted, but my time at camp hill has made me a lot more open to other ppl
ive learnt to be comfortable in the chg environment
you dont have to be that competitive to be at camp hill; i know a lot of introverts there and they get some of the best grades ik of
i feel there is pressure at camp hill to do ur best, but it is a good school
they like it when theyre students go into the creatives + STEM subjects, but do encourage a lot in PE
i take art gcse and i think our school does have lots of facilities
our school also has a lot of extra curriculars (animal club is popular w the current yr 7s lol)
there is a lot of support systems in place at chg, and they focus a lot on our well being
i wouldnt recommend sending her to handsworth
my sister used to go there and there are a lot of not very nice people and we moved her to a different school
im not sure about sutton, but if u live in kings heath your daughter will probs have to take the bus or train to get there if u cant drop her (maybe car pool?)
sorry fo any spelling mistakes and if this is unclear
hope this helps
