Gcse re sit

I’m re sitting English language GCSE in a couple of weeks not because I failed I got a 6, however it was my worst grade and only 6 so I want to do it again because I got a 9 in the mock. Of course it will weaken my uni application having a re sit on there. Does anyone know if you can submit the original grade on uni applications instead of the re sit grade and just continue as normal??

UCAS make it clear here that "You must enter all your qualifications from secondary education onwards whether you have the result (even any that were ungraded) or you’re still awaiting exams and results."

You will therefore need to enter details of both the original and the resit.
