Medicine- US/UK
Hi, I have a bit of a situation I would love some advice on.
So basically I’ve always dreamed of studying in the US (I’m from the UK) and have been given opportunity to apply to programs there. However I want to be a doctor (don’t mind the time it takes) and I know that this is virtually impossible for me due to visas, cost and difficulty to get into med schools/residency programs.
I am considering doing an undergrad degree in biology/bioscience/chemistry kind of thing in America. I also do a lot of rowing and swimming so would like to do student athlete kind of stuff as well.
I was wondering if after completing this degree in some sort of science would I be able to apply to do graduate entry medicine in the Uk? It doesn’t specify anywhere if the degree has to be from the UK and I am not sure of this would lower my chances or if I’d even be able to do so.
