Switching from LPC to SQE advice

Hi there,

I am about to start my LPC course in January 2024. However, I’m wondering whether I can switch to the SQE prep course even though I’m already enrolled in the University of Law LPC program. I’m an international student so I have to apply for my student visa. I’ve already applied for my visa with the LPC course details and am currently waiting for a decision. I am trying to find some way to make it possible to switch. Has anyone been in this situation before? Any advice on this matter would be very appreciated.

I don't know the visa rules. University of Law will probably let you switch- it is possible they also have guidance on the visa application and if their students find it easy or hard to switch once the application has gone in.
