If you do a quick google search, you would find that the 9MA0 is the standard Excel spec for A Level Maths:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/A%20Level/Mathematics/2017/specification-and-sample-assesment/a-level-l3-mathematics-specification-issue4.pdf (page 9)

9811 is the spec for AEA Maths. See: https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/Advanced%20Extension%20Award/Mathematics/2018/specification-and-sample-assessment-materials/Spec_AEA_Mathematics.pdf (page 9)

The AEA is used to help distinguish the top performers in maths, and a distinction in AEA is the equivalent of 40 UCAS points. See: https://qualifications.pearson.com/en/qualifications/edexcel-a-levels/about/aea-qualifications.html

I haven't seen a uni ever asking AEA for Maths or quantiative degrees, so I suppose it's like a nice bonus to have for your personal statement but otherwise not much point to it (top end unis have their own entance exams for maths, and they usually ask for extracurriculars in maths as opposed to further exams). If you want to specifically do the A Level exams in Maths, then just do the 9MA0.
If you want to double check, ask someone who did AEA since it's pretty unique to EdExcel.

Pearson Edexcel is the most popular examboard for A-Level Maths and A-Level Further Maths and it also has the most resources and videos online for self-study, so choose Pearson Edexcel. 🙂
