The St Andrews economics course has entrance requirements of AAA. Seeing that it is one of the best Unis for economics, does this mean people applying have much higher predicted A levels?

The St Andrews economics course has entrance requirements of AAA. Seeing that it is one of the best Unis for economics, does this mean people applying have much higher predicted A levels?
I got an offer from them for this year. I did have higher predicted grades - for India, it is 90% required and I have a predicted of 98%
