Networking
I believe I saw another post about networking and there will have been many about it given this sub. However I havent seen any that have given answers that apply to me or any actual advice. So anyone that has anything helpful to say, please do. I'm an England based Year 12 student and I have little to no connections in the finance field. Someone I know is very involved and has many connections, opportunities and such available to them and they claim its due to networking. I am very aware it would be due to that but I'm very stunted on how to 'network'. This person is very ahead of me in terms of everything yet we are the same age. I attend virtual insight events as thats the only thing I'm able to find, I will try look harder though to find events where I can connect with people instead of just listening in on a zoom meeting, but if anyone can give me some pointers in gaining experience and connecting as a student in the finance field it would be very much appreciated.
