Work Experience With F1 teams

has anyone had resent work experience in f1 teams particularly in the engineering areas, what was it like etc. Thinking applying but don't want to be making tea for a week or two lol

Application forms are normally on team websites.

They aren’t going to give you real work, you’ll either be shadowing people on random activities, doing random stuff to keep you busy or they may have a few slightly dressed up technical stuff they dish out to try and make it engaging.

I wouldn’t shy away from being an errand kid/ getting the teas in. It’s actually a useful task, you save time of engineers and you appear useful (and likeable). Very helpful if you ever apply for internship in the future.

Making the teas, or other menial tasks is often a brilliant way to get entry into very technical careers, get experience on your cv and get a diatanced understanding of things. Its unlikely they will ask you to help on anything technical without significant experience and qualifications. Its not an either or, as in do you want to make the tea or do you want to redesign the wing on this multimillion pound car. More like tea first then the wing.
