Does it matter which uni for Computer Science, for cutting edge research?
Hi, I've seen people say which university you go to for CS does not matter very much.
But for example if you want to go and do a PhD at an institution like the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at UCL, how important is the university you attend? Does it need to be one of the very top, like top 5, top 10 in UK? Or any russell group university, as long as you get a 2:1 minimum?
What about afterwards, when going for postdoc or faculty positions?
