spanish help!

does anyone know if the phrase 'blank slate' is used in spanish and if so, does anyone know the translation? i keep seeing literal translations but im worried it doesnt mean the same thing.

No, a literal translation is wrong assuming you're using it in the idiomatic sense of wanting to start on a blank slate. If so, then the usual structures used in Spanish are ''pasar página'' and ''empezar de cero''.
