What to do when everyone sings happy birthday to you?

Honestly though ,
my bday is in 3 days and lots of people are invited and its so awkward when everyone sings HBD and you're just stood there smiling...last time it was so awkward I kept looking down at cake then I looked at photos it looked like I wanted to eat the cake as fast as I could - SO EMBARASSING

i have never tried singing along with them - none of my friends do that so if I did I would be the clown lol

Take that time to smile and look around at each and every face in attendance and nod to those who you are surprised to see and before you know it, the song will be over.
