Research Project Abroad

Hi,

I am currently a third year medical student planning to go to Africa for 4 weeks in the summer with my boyfriend while he does his elective. I do my elective next year. I was thinking of trying to do a research project while I am out there but am not sure how or where to start and what I would do it on. If anyone has any ideas, I would be grateful of suggestions. I'm not sure what else I could do in rural suburban Africa for 4 weeks.
