Academic conditions for MPhils? (i.e. are they the 'minimum' or probably 1st class?)

I'm currently at the PAO / Decision Pending stage of my application after having passed my interview a couple of weeks ago for the MPhil in Basic & Translational Neuroscience.

I'm trying to get a grasp of what the academic condition will be like if anyone who has already received offers could shed some light on it.

The requirement for the course is a 2:1 class degree, but I'm honestly not sure whether the condition itself will ask me to get 1st class as this is what I'm currently on track for.

Since this affects the extent to which I need to apply for 'backup' universities (i.e. whose conditions will be lower), I was hoping someone could provide their experience on this!
