Equipment needed for Animation at DMU

Hi, is there an equipment list available for what would be required for studying animation? Or will this be provided nearer to enrolment date? I just don’t want to rush nearer to enrolment since I’d be busy.

There are no specific materials or equipment of your own -other than a laptop for working on written assignments and notes if you wish🤓 -that you need to get at this moment in time.
For Animation a lot of the software and devices needed can be specialised and this is why we endeavour to provide them already at DMU for all students to access!💻️🖼️

Our sophisticated, specialist facilities include industry standard 2D animation software, recording and sound studios, life room, and computer suites with Cintiq stations. Access to these facilities throughout your course, as well as lectures and practical workshops, will give you professional insight for a future career in the animation industry!🎞️
