KCL vs. SOAS for Distance Learning MSc Finance?
Hi everyone, I am an American thinking of doing a part-time distance learning MSc Finance at either SOAS or KCL. Because of differences in funding opportunities, I would probably end up paying around 2,000 GBP for SOAS and 30,000 GBP for KCL. It seems like the KCL program is a lot more interactive and involved, and has the stronger name, but it would be significantly more expensive.
Do you think KCL be worth the extra cost, or should I go with SOAS?

We don't know your financial situation, although having said that I struggle to think of a financial situation in which paying 28 thousand pounds more for the same degree is justifiable for the 'better name'. Go for SOAS. It's a well respected uni especially at graduate levels, which will leave you enough money to, oh I don't know, buy yourself a damn nice car. You're going into finance....
