K-pop Dance at York St John University

Hi, at YSJ we have a whole society dedicated to K-pop fans. This is largely due to the fact we have a Korean course at our University.

Whether you have been a fan since 2nd Gen or 5th Gen or any other (girls) generation :smile:

, you are welcome to join us.

If you are a Boy group stan, Girl group stan or a Multi stan we have something for everyone. We even have a Boy group cover team and a Girl group cover team (you do not have to be male to join the BG cover team or female to join GG cover team, they are called that to reflect the K-pop group not our own gender identities e.g. BG can be NCT, EXO, ATEEZ. GG can be Girls Generation, Aespa, Twice.)

Whether you have done dance all your life or never danced before, we welcome all dance abilities and are supportive of everyone. We do not welcome judgmental behavior especially on peoples dance abilities. In fact you do not even have to dance if you don't want to, feel free to come along to make friends and play games.

Our society is not just made up of YSJ students. Some Uni of York students join us and some of our members do not go to university. The only requirements are you are an adult (18+) and you get a membership.

We provide a safe space for our members to be their true self, to have fun and make lifelong friends.

We have an Instagram Account, Youtube Account and TikTok Account if you want to view some of the projects we have done so far. We aim to do a lot more in the future so keep a look out.
