You are interested in whether the effectiveness of various forms of psychotherapy differ, depending on the setting where the psychotherapy is delivered, e.g. hospital, health centre, GP surgery etc.
You identify 2 types of psychotherapy, and 3 types of setting. You collect data from 357 participants receiving psychotherapy in these settings. To analyse your data, you enter their improvement scores into a 2-way independent ANOVA.

Your two factors are: psychotherapy type (2 levels) and setting type (3 levels). Your model sum of squares (SSM) for the effect of psychotherapy type is 276.1, and your error sum of squares (SSE) is 4598.9. What is the F value for the effect of psychotherapy type? Give your answer to 2 d.p.
