I was thinking this but would it work for Handmaid's Tale and War of the Worlds? I also do Frankenstein and Never Let Me Go but the questions need to work for all four texts. I was thinking maybe women or friendship? But relationships came up not long ago so I'm not sure if they'd do friendships so soon.

Maybe if its a choice, I hope its not women as its quite difficult for NLMG. Maybe friendship could work as Ishiguro focuses on the clones' friendships and then there is room to talk about the lack of companionship the creature has and how he isolates victor by killing Clerval/Elizabeth etc but still seems quite narrow idk

Yeah omg I can't believe I've found ppl who are also doing NLMG and Frankenstein, would love to make a Snap gc to discuss P2 anyone's interested, I LOVE both books sm lol

I'm doing nlmg and frankenstein too! I really hope it's not women and something more vague like identity. Last year they were terrible - death and experience of learning

Does anyone know what women and society will be? I am actually resitting and remember one of them was something to do with characters but I actually misread it so... if anyone knows id be super grateful!

they did setting last year iirc so i think it'll be theme or character based rather than craft based

isolation can defo be used for the handmaid's tale so its a possibility for sure!

yeahh to add to this they've done societal isolation for one of the other options so it wouldn't surprise me if it came up as I think there's a lot to talk about
