Importance of degree classification in pharmacy

Is there any advantages of getting a 1st vs a 2.1 for any aspect of pharmacy? Like when applying for pre-reg at a hospital, gp, industry or anything else?

For Community Pharmacy (where most graduates end up) the degree grade and the University from which you obtained the degree from are almost irrelevant. Once on the GPhC register no one will ask or care.
For the few that go onto employment in industry or the very few that continue studies for PhD etc it probably does matter more.
Interesting to see the effect of degree grade inflation with time. When I graduated with a Pharmacy degree the majority of graduates left with a 2:2.
