Proof of work experience

Hi! I'm a sixth form aspiring vet student, I'm currently completing some work experience and I was a wondering if I needed to provide proof of having completed it and if so how?

Yes ideally you need a letter from them on headed notepaper with the dates you worked. The uni that seems strictest on the way proof of work experience is presented is Liverpool so if you Google proof of work experience for veterinary medicine Liverpool it will give you an idea. Not many vet schools ask for proof and some have dropped all work experience requirements but with lots of experience you have a far better chance answering interview questions.

I completely agree with vetmum, and please please please make sure all of your work placement letters are in the right format if you are planning to apply to Liverpool. They made a 10 page document detailing how to and how not to prove your work. Heres the link.

Good luck on your applications!
