i've been spelling the word 'failure' as 'failiure' for the past year in economics until recently when I noticed i've been spelling it wrong:L lol
Your/you're, their/there/they're, and lose/loose.

It's freaking annoying when people ask on these threads- "At what age did you loose your virginity?"
I keep thinking that it should have been tight if you were a virgin! (Yeah, I know.)

Also, 'should of' instead of 'should have'.

The amount of times I see 'wierd' instead of 'weird' is ridiculous!

I'm sick of people who can't spell so here's how to spell certain words.

Definitely - not definately or definitaly.

Breathe - note that this is spelt different from breath. You're meant to use breathe to explain how one inhales oxygen and emits carbon dioxide, and you use breath when you refer to ones breath smelling.

Occasionally - two C's used.

Focused - Why oh why do people spell it as 'focussed?'

Grammar- not grammer

does anyone care to add any more?

'A lot' which is two words is often spelled 'alot' which is just not a word.

"It's", "Can't", "You've", and other words with apostrophes.

I saw someone on facebook put an apostrophe in "meant" the other day.

I'm not usually a Grammar Nazi, but...

Tounge instead of tongue. I get that a lot myself

My mom always misspells sleep. She writes sleap.

I go to a grammar school and I can't say the amount of times people that actually go there called it a grammer school. :facepalm2:
Not sure if other people misspell this one, but for some reason I always spell 'publicly' as 'publically' :colondollar:

Misspelled is often misspelled

It's actually spelt misspelt in Britain.
wierd :/
what i think is that people are lesser human beings when they make spelling errors and we should eliminate them.

nah, who cares. but what i really despise, is the people that go around on their high horses, saying things like IF YOU USE THE WORD LITERALLY/BASICALLY IN THIS WAY THEN YOU ARE A **** HUMAN BEING AND I AM IGNORING YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY WORTHLESS. jesus, if serious: pipe down and get a hobby and get away from your current outlook. if troll: not funny, get more material, bindun etc.

bored.
