I've met someone. And he's lovely. Absolutely lovely.

"im so in love with user "Darcy" - hes so romantic"
^This someone?

awwwwww, good for you ISA, that's fantastic. :lovehug:

The answer's so a yes! As you've just shown, if you're worth it eventually one will come along.

hell, the whole H&R forum is a demonstration that lovely, romantic people exist from both sexes, and generally spend a while getting screwed over by the world for being so, until finally they bump into each other!
And then they stop posting, because there's no need to any more!

We've made plans. He'll apply for Oxbridge for postgraduate, and I'll meet him there. :mmm:
My mum says being romantic has it's downfalls. Ie if you are a romantic then your more likely to get hit by reality.

Ie when my little one is born the boyfriend might realise it's not all sunshine and giggles

What do mean lust is normally part of love? surely you would want some future partner to be attracted to you?

Love isn't only about lust it is a whole combinations of things which differ in their presence depending on the couple. Some people in love are happy even without sex, whilst other couples can't keep their hands off each other both are love.

Simple question, and I'm asking this just to compare male and female responses.

My opinion: honestly, yes. Asked me that question only a few days ago and I would deny it like hell. But really, you just never know, and I got pleasantly surprised that not all men are lustful pricks. Some, but not all. :h:

Life does have many surprises. :moon:

No, I met a man who completely changed my view of lust and taught me the meaning of love.

EDIT: Oh, I've just seen your previous response to someone else.

Depends.

Prove it.
Yes, there's loads. You've just got to find the right guy. If not, you can always turn the one who isn't into a romantic guy.

But it all depends on what you would personally describe as romantic and what you are referring to.

There's a really 'romantic' guy I've met and he is lovely, he is the more poetic type though and I've sort of grown up out of it and I just like spontaneous guys, but he is different, arty and bohemian; the sort who would write a poem about you.
