The Student Room Group

Name of the song sometimes used in the background of BBC's Olympic coverage?

I know it includes the words "Save my life" or something, and usually crops up when the presenters are overlooking medal tables etc, but does anyone know what its called?

Have you been able to find it on BBC iPlayer? A link and a time would be helpful.

I'd like to know too if we are both thinking of the same one! It's lovely.

Just browsing through some and I haven't been able to find one yet. It is quite catchy though.

I'm looking for the other song!

OP is referring to Florence and the Machine - Say my Name Calvin Harris remix, which plays over the medal table, and the "coming up" part....

the BBC has another song that sometimes plays over the same parts with no lyrics...... anybody know what i'm talking about??

Yep, there's some catchy music they play regularly during the Olympic coverage, when they're giving a summary of what's been happening. It doesn't have lyrics. It's driving me mad - I want to know what it is too!!! Aaak!
Somebody here might be referring to this? I'll post it just in case...

Did it have like a brass band playing in the main tune?
