What is your dream job?

Interested to hear what your dream job is/was, especially if it is the same now as it was when you were a child. This seems a nice way to avoid doing my dissertation on a Tuesday afternoon...

Own my own small cocktail bar in Jamaica. I feel fancy the quite life when I am older, so gonna start thinking about investing in it as a future tbh. Not really into the hectic city life

I can't see why that isn't a realisitic dream; anyone living in the UK right now cannot be blamed for working abroad.

Childhood dream job: there were many.some being a vet, in the policeforce, an author, a pop star...

Realistic dream job: then I apparently was supposed to grow up and I got bit on the ass by life, so now I'll probably teach English, teach music privately, work as a freelance musician, writing of some description, nursing or open a wedding planning business.

Unrealistic dream job: but at heart I'm still a big kid, so in my dreams I'd love to sing with an opera company and have some of my stories, poetry or essays published properly.

My goals appears to not have changed radically from when I was younger, but then again I'm only 17, so to some I guess I'm still a child! I think at the end of the day your unrealistic dreams are good things, as they keep you striving for something more. If I follow the path towards them then no matter what happens I'm still in the right field to do my realistic dream job, so "shoot for the moon and even if you miss you'll still land among the stars." Even if you don't do your unrealistic dream job, then hey, what else would you have to dream about?

Childhood dream job: Zoologist. I wanted to travel the world finding animals.

Realistic dream job: Teacher. I think I'd enjoy teaching in a college or something. I couldn't take science A-levels (long story) so am looking at science degrees with foundation years. Might study Zoology after all.

Unrealistic dream job: Doctor. Several family members have rare illnesses and I volunteer with a health charity, so it would be something I'd love to do, but realistically I couldn't have such a stressful/emotional job even if I did meet the Entry Reqs.
