I Know that all of you on TSR are so epic; what epic things are you planning to do during freshers week 2013?

1. Attempt to make my own booze (LOL-zer/epic)
2. Go inside (and have a little explore of) every building that is part of the university
3. Make friends with a student from a country I've never known someone from or been to before

I'll be a third year, so I'll go around freshers fair for the free pizza, I'll go to some house parties and I'll probably have a few shifts at work. Fun times!

I'll be a second year next freshers week and I'm still going to be at my summer job during freshers week. It's a depressing prospect, given how much I enjoyed freshers week last week, but needing the monies, and I'm guessing it's only really good in first year.
My advice for new first years would be to talk to as many people as possible, as 98% of my friends from uni are people I met in freshers week. Also, don't go in with too many expectations, just let it all happen. Also try and find stuff to do during the day as it can get incredibly boring being sat in your room all day.

I'll try and not spend so much money that I have to give the Bank of Mum and Dad a call after the first weekend.
