You can go to the scrap yard and pick one of up for about 150 pounds. Not all cars that are banged up are bad, sometimes there are cheap fixes which are neglected by the scrapper who just wants a quick cash boost and rid of the car.

This this this. Running a car is so expensive :frown:

You've got the fuel, car insurance, road tax, MOT, when it breaks down and needs to go to the garage, car park fees...

It's enjoyable to have the freedom which comes with having your own car but you hardly feel free when you're constantly poor from spending all your money on your car haha. Just something to think about :smile:
