Someone please tell me the answer about 7bi, I'm stressing. I put there has no been a source of carbohydrate consumed to top up the glucose levels, so glucose levels continue to decrease as they're turned into glycogen or used up as respiration?

That could be right as well, it's only one mark!

I put something about glucose being used for respiration too, however it was a shot in the dark.
Yeah I put that too

Yay! Would you say it's likely to be 89+ minimum with harsh boundaries

And also what about 49 raw marks

(Last year) Grade boundaries for ISAs are:
To get 100ums, you needed 43/50

39/50 = 90ums = A*
35/50 = 80ums = A
31/50 = 70ums = B
28/50 = 60ums = C
22/50 = 50ums = D
17/50 = 40ums = E
12/50 = 30ums = F
7/50 = 20ums = G

Wouldn't say 100 (just to be harsh), I would say 49 out of 50 will be either a high A or low A*.
i got 50 in physics, 48 chem and 42/43 (dunno moderated grade, but was told 43) Biology :frown:

I hope the grade boundaries for Bio unit 3, i got about 54/55 I think - but kinda wanted high ums :/

Who else is retaking unit 1? I got 93 in it i think

What?! High A for 49 in the isa or exam?! For the exam 49 is definitely an A* but probably really low A* and for the isa 49 will probably be 100, anything above 47 for me is 100 In the isa.

Haha, I mean exam  49 isn't ALWAYS A* since in the P2 Jan 2013, it was 51 :O

And for that exam 60/60 was 100 UMS.

Yea that's true but that exam was fairly easy because it had so many 1 mark questions with a very common 6 mark q, but this biology exam had many 3 mark and 4 mark questions and the last two pages IMO were quite hard. I would say 57+ is 100 in this B3 exam. I would say 49 is 90 but that could easily be 51 like p2 jan.

Yeah :/ Hopefully this B3 isn't like Jan 2013 B2 which was 47 (or 49) ?? For an A*, I hope the boundary for the A is somewhere in the 30's, and the A* is somewhere like 45 or lower :colondollar::colondollar::colondollar:

wasn't this for additional science only or for triple science aswell?
Sorry for the consuming I meant the exam not the ISA, I anticipate the boundaries for B3 exam to be: 46 A* and 38 A
