I fear that De Boer could take Tottenham to new heights :

This is all nice and dandy but not without the right manager. What De Boer has done with Ajax just shows how much he can do with Tottenham. If this deal comes into place then I see Tottenham seriously contending for the EPL and CL spots again. I don't see anyone else they can get really other than Van Gaal, but if I were in there position I'd take De Boer immediately, more for the long term improvement. Wenger's not leaving this year so chances of us getting De Boer instead are slim to none.

He's not going to Tottenham as far as I am aware. Regardless, the Tottenham job is going to require a lot of restructuring. Its going to take at least two seasons before the usual suspects consider them as a threat.

Yep - That's why I said they should take De Boer over Van Gaal ( if said deal was even happening) since De Boer would probably offer more long term stability and gain. Of course the club isn't going to change immediately but it would still be headed in the right direction. Anyways yeah it's all Rumours right now, but he hasn't confirmed/denied it either so the chance of it happening is still some what open.

Can't write them off for improving their away record at some point
None the less I see Arsenal being miles ahead in a few years as we've only just started to get back on out feet.
At the end of the day when there is 7 top quality teams contending for top 4/1st place it's ridiculous to imagine how tight the EPL may be in the future

true - our set up has definitely assisted his development and performances.
yeah, i think he has a ways to go, however i still think we can get excited about him.
he has been consistently good this year, even in matches where the SAS have been bad.

I don't laugh at specialist in failure. I have no time for those perennial failure. I pity them if anything.

Wenger's entire reputation rests on next season imo and how he spends the money in the transfer window. The guy is likely to win the FA Cup, it is how he moves on from this that will define the second half of his career.

don't pity them - all they do is berate and laugh at us when we do badly.
it's funny that they spend so much and they don't get a decent return.
i'd be happy if they bought costa - he has been awful in the tie so far; he could be useless in the prem where's it's a little more physical.
