Student dinner blog day 4

Third update on the dinner blog where I provide recipes, instructions and where I bought food from and how much to show how cost effective you can be.

My food shop which is supposed to be lasting two week with all the food I have as ingredients can be found here:

And the second post can be found here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2871415

Today's dinner: Stuffed mushroom and pasta

This is basically just a variation of the dinner I did on day one but instead I served it with pasta instead so if you need instruction on how to make the stuffed mushroom go back to day 1 and take a look.

Tomorrow I will be making a vegetarian lasagne with full instructions, I will also add pointers (if I remember) if you want instructions for if you want to add meat instead. Lasagne is usually seen as something too expensive to make from scratch but the lasagne I will make tomorrow (which should be around 4 or 5 portions worth) will only have cost around £3 to make.
I love your little dinner blogs! I'm definitely going to try the sweet potatoe chips you made on day 1.

Naw thanks  glad to hear someone appreciates them, the sweet potato chips are one of my favourite things because they're so incredibly easy to make!
These are really good! but why don't you just do 1 big blog post, rather than separating them out by day? It'd be a lot easier following your previous posts and we'd know (from starred watches) when you update another one

I can cook some things but I'm not a 'creative cook' if you know what I mean like I can cook stir frys and stuff but I never imagined to make chips from sweet potato, it's amazing. XD

I got the idea a couple of years ago and was like "hmm is that a thing?" googled it and it seemed plausible so just made them, I prefer them so much more than regular chips.
